Dr. Long Hu is currently a Lecturer (assistant professor) at the School of Engineering at Macquarie University (Vice chancellor Fellow). In this year, he was successful to achieve prestigious award of ARC DECRA Fellow 2023 (like Outstanding Young Scholar in China) for early career researcher. He has secured more than 1 M AUD grant income and supervised 3 PhD students. His research interests focus on advanced semiconducting nanostructured materials for high-performing optoelectronic device applications such as photovoltaics and photodetectors. To date, he has achieved 4 world-record efficiencies in quantum dot solar conversion devices. In the past 7 years, he has been working in world-recognized universities including UNSW, Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Macquarie University, Sydney.He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed journal papers (24 as first author or co-first author such as Nature Communications, Advanced materials, Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Energy Letters, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, and 4 as co-corresponding author such as Advanced Materials, Energy and Environment Science, Nano Energy) in top-ranking journals such as Science, Naturewith a total citation of larger than 4380 times.
